EmE/IME/SMO coordination
We recognize the important roles that EMEs, SMOs, and IMEs play in the workers’ compensation process. These evaluations help ensure that employees receive appropriate care, determine safe return-to-work timelines, and support clear communication between medical professionals, employers, and insurers. While these examinations are a necessary part of managing workplace injuries, we are committed to handling them with respect, fairness, and a focus on the well-being of every injured worker.
Coordination:
- Assistance with identifying the most appropriate physician in review of the claim
- Coordination of records in compliance with clinic specific guidelines
- Retrieval of imaging discs and delivery to the selected clinic
- Retrieval of invoicing and confirmation of payment
- Reminders submitted to injured worker to help avoid scheduling mishaps
- Review of medical records including summary of records to the selected provider
- Letter preparation to confirm all necessary questions are addressed by the selected provider
- If requested NCM can attend the appointments in the states of MS, AL, and LA
